There are 2 people in my family, including my mother and me. I come from a single-parent family. My parents got divorced when I was five. Now I live in Taipei city with my mom. She works in a traditional Taiwanese food restaurant as a dishwasher.
My mother treats me very well. I remember when I was 12 . I wanted to go to a signer’s concert. But the concert was in Hong Kong. My mother still took me to the concert. She really is the best Mom in the world. I am so lucky to be her son.

Hi! my name is Jacob from Taiwan. I’m 27 years old. I graduated from The University with a bachelor degree in Business Management. I ‘ve been working in a restaurant as a waiter for one year. I also have more than two years of experience as an in-bound call center agent in Chunghwa Telecom company . So I have the experience and expertise of customer service. In 2012. I went to the united states to join the Summer Work & Travel program . I was working in the Ruby's Inn in Bryce Canyon national park as a housekeeper for 3 month. During my time in the USA, I have made a lot of friends from many different countries. I traveled many city of America. I Broaden my mind and become more independent. It was great and fun. It was the most unforgettable and best experience of my life. That’s why I want to join this work experience Austria program.

I have been to Thailand twice and China three times, including Hong Kong, Macau, and Shanghai. (Expo)
There are many showplaces in Macau. But I am not interest in showplace. It’s a board place.
I more like Thailand. Because everything is so cheap. I bought many clothes there.
I love shopping. There is a biggest flea market in the world in Thailand. You can buy almost everything there.
Hong Kong is a very small and congested city. There are so many people in this city. The prices of commodities are kind of expensive there.
Shanghai is a very beautiful city with a long history. There are so many beautiful building in Shanghai.

I want to travel to Italy and Paris. Because those are very beautiful and romantic places.

In order to experience Austria life style and learn local culture, there are many opportunities to conversation with Austrian. So I can improve my English and make new friends from different courtries. So I decided to join this program.
Also I think it’s a great program. Not only I can earn money to travel in Austria, but also I can gain more work experience .

During my time in the USA, I have made a lot of friends from many different countries. I traveled many city of America. I Broaden my mind and become more independent and mature. It was great and fun. It was the most unforgettable and best experience of my life. I benefited a lot from this journey.

I always want to stay abroad for a long term time. I only can stay 4 month in the USA, But I can stay one year in Austria. Also I’ve never been to Austria. That’s why I choose Austria and join this program.

I expect that I can improve my English, gain more work experience, and acquire ability of problem solving from this program. I think I will become more independent and mature.

Yes, this is my Second time to travel alone. I’m still feel excited and nervous.
I’m nervous Because travel alone which mean I have to handle everything by myself.

I already have told my Mom. She support me to join this program. She thinks it’s a great program. Because not only I can earn money to travel in Austria, but also I can gain more work experience. I also can learn local culture and lifestyle.

I want to be a housekeeper. Because I have housekeeping experience in the USA.But I’m still willing to try and learn everything new. So I think I will accept all the job.

My company provided valuable training . I learned to solve clients‘ problem and took company low classes too. Also I learned to be patient. When I was trying to help customers to solve their problems. I had to be patient. So I think I really learned a lot from my job.

I have to answer the question about Microsoft product information and guide customer to download MS product software .

I always feel great after I solved customer’s problem.
Because I think helping people is a great thing. It really makes me proud and happy.

I learned company low and acquired ability of problem solving. I also learned to be patient. Because when I was trying to help customers to solve their problems. I have to be patient.

I already have worked in the customer service department in Chunghwa Telecom company for two years. And I currently work in a traditional Taiwanese food restaurant as a waiter for one year. So I have the experience of customer service.

For example. I usually go off work at 5:30 pm, but one time, it was almost 5:30 pm, and the phone started to ring. I still answered the phone and helped my customer until 6:30 pm.

I will try to talk to them. Because we still have to work together. In order to be a better team mate. I will ask him that have I done anything to offend him? If I did I will apologize to him.

工作面試
Taipei City is my favorite. Because it’s my hometown. It’s the place where I born and grow up. My family and friends all are here. I have so many memories in this city.
Taiwan is a very small island next to China. If you come to Taiwan. I will recommend that you should check out some of the top landmarks in the capital city of Taipei, including Taipei 101 (it is the tallest building in Taiwan), the National Palace Museum, and Taipei night markets.
Specially Taipei night markets. There are many tasty and unique traditional dishes in the night markets. Such as stinky tofu, Pearl milk tea (Tapioca ball tea), Braised pork rice and Fried rice with egg. Those are very tasty food. If you try them just once you will remember it forever. I hope you can come to visit our country one day.

At the beginning. I spend too much time to clean one room. It frustrates me.
So I try to find a way to clean faster. I thought the only way to become faster is practice. Through keep practicing. Eventually I was getting faster

I remember before my current work started. I had to learn company low first. It’s pretty hard and difficult for me. Learning company low was making me feel frustrated. I even thought maybe I can just quiet. But I didn’t give up eventually. I still finished the course and work until now. I'm proud of that.
Would you talk about your strength and weakness? 可以談一談你的優點和缺點嗎？
My greatest strength is that I am responsible. For example. I usually go off work at 5:30 pm, but one time, it was already 5:30 pm, and the phone started to ring. I still answered the phone and helped my customer until 6:30 pm.
As for my weaknesses, well, I have to admit that sometimes I pay too much attention to details. When I am working on a task, I can’t help wanting to make sure everything is perfect and I spend lots of time checking over and over again. However, now I’ve come to good balance by ensuring all my tasks are done accurately the first time.
One of my weakness is that I'm not good talking in front of people. I need to work on that.

My strongest skills are handling complaints with great patience. I think solving customer complaints is a wonderful way to win customer loyalty, and I am happy to deal with any problems people may have.

My favorite book’s name is call The Secret. It’s all about the power of positive thinking. The book tells you have to thinkpositive. Because if you think positive. Then you will attract good things. But if you think negative. Then the bad things will come to get you. It's call the Law of attraction-the science of attracting more of what you want and less of what you don't. Read this book can help me to improve myself. It’s a great book.

I have been to Kenting several times. It’s the southern part of Taiwan.
Kenting is a place for you to see the Blue sky and the wide sea. You can play volleyball on the sand or swim in the blue ocean during daytime. After that, you can go shopping in Kenting Street at night. If you have opportunity to travel to Taiwan. You should come visit to Kenting.

I think I will still be patient and nice to serve my client. And Help him to solve their problems. Because that’s my duty. I should be professional, responsible and deliver great customer service to them.
