My name is XXX and I am from Chennai. I am currently studying Finance and Economics at Hong Kong University. I was raised in Bengalu and when I was 18 I moved to Hong Kong to take my university study. Last year I went to London to join the school's exchange program. During my exchange I went backpacking with other backpackers from all over the world to other countries across Europe. It was a fun experience. I think I have been fortunate enough to be able to live in different parts of the world and thus be able to broaden my horizon.
I have a strong interest in banking and financial services industry. The reason is I'd like to leverage my detail-oriented mind and apply the skills and knowledge that I have attained throughout my degree courses. I see myself as a people-oriented and over-achiever person. I demonstrated this through working in various group projects with different types of people in which I had been able to perform well.
I would like to be part of your company to further develop myself in banking field and to use my capabilities to serve both your company and your clients.

Hi! My name is Jacob from Taiwan. I graduated from The University at Taipei with a degree in Business Management. and I am currently working as the Entertainment Marketing Coordinator for Buffalo Bisons Baseball. Generally speaking, on a game day, I am the “game day producer,” which means, I’m in charge of all the entertainment at the ballpark with the exception of the baseball. So, from the scoreboards to the replays to all the cameras up on the big board, to the national anthem singers, the color guard, sometimes we have parades, it’s not only baseball that we do, we do everything.
I have a staff of about 25 people on a game day who come in and execute this - from interns to actual paid game day staff - and most of the day is set, setting that script for everyone to work off of once they come in. There’s also the community relations; all the donations that we do go through me.
“Here’s your routine, the first time through both line-ups we just stick with the regular stuff.”
I work very hard at the personal relationships that I create with people and the professional relationships I create with the people that I work with, the people that work for me and the people I work for.
I interned here for a while and that helped immensely. I wasn’t coming in blind. I knew the full time staff all ready and I just learned as I went. I made some mistakes, but learned from them and continued to make mistakes and learn from them and hopefully one day - no more mistakes!
Something hit me when I realized how hard it was actually going to be to get a job so I actually utilized Career Services a lot. I went in and had my resume looked at two or three times. I had it critiqued and it helped, immensely. I went in and I had I think two different practice interviews, which were great.
“There’s a BINGO number assigned to that. Don’t’ look at me like that – that’s your job!”
The number one thing is to do an internship. Work as hard as you possibly can while you’re there and you will just see that it pays off immensely because you will rise to the top of any internship class.
Shouting: “Way to go boys!”
My favorite part about this job is the show that we put on. We put on a show 72 times a year and it’s producing that show and making sure everything runs smoothly and the intensity and the adrenaline that comes with that is really quite, at times, very stressful. But at the end of the day when each game ends I sit down and just say that was awesome!
