There are 2 people in my family, including my mother and me. I come from a single-parent family. My parents got divorced when I was five. Now I live in Taipei city with my mom. She works in a traditional Taiwanese food restaurant as a dishwasher.
My mother treats me very well. I remember when I was 12 . I wanted to go to a signer’s concert. But the concert was in Hong Kong. My mother still took me to Hong Kong for the concert. She really is the best Mom in the world. I am so lucky to be her son.

In order to experience Austria life style and learn local culture, there are many opportunities to conversation with Austrian. So I can improve my English and make new friends from different courtries. So I decided to join this program.

I ever joined work and travel program in the USA. It really was a wonderful experience of my life. But unfortunately the trip was too short. I only can stay 4 month in the USA. I always want to stay abroad for a long term time. Austria work experience program give me a chance to stay abroad for one year. Also I’ve never been to Austria. That’s why I choose to go to Austria and join this program.

I remember before the call center agent work started. I had to learn company low first. It’s pretty hard and difficult for me. Learning company low was making me feel frustrated. I once sent wrong dish to the customer. I immediately apologized to them. And try to make up for them.

One time I received a call from a furious customer about a wrong delivery. He was being really rude. He even swore at me. It really made me so angry. But even though I was pretty angry. I would say that I have never really had a problem working with anyone. I always try to find our common ground, and get along with everyone's different personality.

It would be making a decision to join this Austria work experience program. Because if I joined this program I probably can’t see my mother and my friends for a long time. I will be missing them very much. But I thought that if I choose to stay in Taiwan. I will be regret. So I still decide to join program.

I think one of the most important things I've learned is persistence.
Not to give up too soon, because the solution is probably right in front of me.

I love my co-workers and I am going to miss them ! They are really nice and helpful. They always take good care of me. We hang out all the time after work.
I am so lucky to meet them and work with them. I will miss them so much.

I was working in Ruby’s Inn in Bryce Canyon National Park as a room attendant for 3 month. Room attendant duties include clean rooms, lobbies, restrooms, make bed, Dust furniture, Sweep, scrub floors, something like that. After I finished my work. I travel to many city of America, like New York, Miami, LA, Las Vegas. San Francisco. I Really want to join America Summer work and travel again. Unfortunately I am not a student any more. So I decide to join work experience Austria.

During my time in the USA, I have made a lot of friends from many different countries. I traveled many city of America. I Broaden my mind and become more independent and mature. It was great and fun. It was the most unforgettable and best experience of my life. I benefited a lot from this journey.
2. 工作內容及請敍述你一天的工作情形。
I always come into the office early. Every morning I had to attend a meeting first. Then I will receive a room list to clean. After meeting I usually go to the storeroom to prepare my housekeeper cart. Then I started to clean the rooms.

I acquired the ability of cleaning skills. Just like sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming. I also learned that if time is managed well and work efficiency is boosted, then the work can be done on time. So before work start. I should plan and organize. just like do the most important tasks first.

I like my colleagues since they were all very nice and helpful. Even our Supervisor was nice too. They were really good people. They always gave me a hand when I needed it. I appreciate them. They took me to travel to Horseshoe Bend. I really had good time with them.
I don’t like temperature there. Because the temperature difference between day and night is very strong. But I still can stand that.

I remember that when I was a housekeeper in the USA. One day I received a Thank note from customer. I was happy. Because my efforts were well rewarded
6. 工作中最大的挫折,如何克服
At the beginning. I spend too much time to clean one room. It really frustrates me. So I started to ask for my senior coworker, and try to find a way to clean faster. My senior coworkers are really nice. They were willing to teach me to clean a room faster and better. Then I use the efficient way they thought me and kept practicing over and over again. Eventually I was getting faster. I really appreciate them.

I have been to Thailand twice and China three times, including Hong Kong, Macau, and Shanghai. (Expo)
There are many showplaces in Macau. But I am not interest in showplace. It’s a boring place.
I more like Thailand. Because everything is so cheap. I shop a lot there.There is a biggest flea market in the world in Thailand. You can buy anything you want there.
Hong Kong is a very small and congested city. There are so many people in this city. The prices of commodities are kind of expensive there.
Shanghai is a very beautiful city with a long history. There are so many beautiful building in Shanghai.

Taiwan is a very small island next to China. If you come to Taiwan. I will recommend that you should check out some of the top landmarks in the capital city of Taipei, including Taipei 101 (it is the tallest building in Taiwan), the National Palace Museum, and Taipei night markets.
Specially Taipei night markets. There are many tasty and unique traditional dishes in the night markets. Such as stinky tofu, Pearl milk tea (Tapioca ball tea), Braised pork rice and Fried rice with egg. Those are very tasty food. If you try them just once you will remember it forever. I hope you can come to visit our country one day.

Taipei City is my favorite. Because it’s my hometown. It’s the place where I born and grow up. My family and friends all are here. I have so many memories in this city.

I have been to Kenting several times. It’s the southern part of Taiwan. Kenting is a place for you to see the Blue sky and the wide sea. You can play volleyball on the sand or swim in the blue ocean during daytime. After that, you can go shopping in Kenting Street at night. If you have opportunity to travel to Taiwan. You should come visit to Kenting.

My greatest strength is that I am responsible. For example. I usually go off work at 5:30 pm, but one time, it was already 5:30 pm, and the phone started to ring. I still answered the phone and helped my customer until 6:30 pm.
As for my weaknesses, well, I have to admit that sometimes I pay too much attention to details. When I am working on a task, I can’t help wanting to make sure everything is perfect and I spend lots of time checking over and over again. However, now I’ve come to good balance by ensuring all my tasks are done accurately the first time.
One of my weakness is that I'm not good talking in front of people. I need to work on that.

My strongest skills are handling complaints with great patience. I think solving customer complaints is a wonderful way to win customer loyalty, and I am happy to deal with any problems people may have.

If my supervisor disagrees and insists I do it a certain way, I'll follow the instructions. But if he’s not. I would probably not question my boss.

I don’t have choice. In order to protect myself. I have to refuse to work for them. But I won’t report it either.
